1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KipBill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KipBill is a SaaS invoicing platform that allows freelancers and small businesses to create, manage, and send invoices. We offer free and paid subscription plans.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to send fraudulent invoices
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code or content
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or yearly). You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you create within KipBill. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your business data, invoices, or client information. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KipBill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KipBill and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where KipBill is incorporated.
