Data Deletion

At KipBill, you have full control over your data. You can delete individual records, export all your information, or permanently delete your entire account at any time.
Delete Specific Data
You can delete individual records directly from your dashboard without deleting your account:
Invoices & Quotes
- 1Go to Invoices or Quotes
- 2Select the item you want to delete
- 3Click the menu (⋯) and select Delete
- 4Confirm the deletion
Clients
- 1Go to Clients
- 2Open the client profile
- 3Click Delete Client
- 4Confirm — associated invoices will be preserved
Expenses
- 1Go to Expenses
- 2Select the expense to remove
- 3Click Delete and confirm
Products
- 1Go to Products
- 2Open the product detail
- 3Click Delete Product and confirm
Export Your Data First
Before deleting anything, you can download a complete copy of all your data:
- 1Go to Settings → Profile
- 2Click "Export All Data"
- 3A JSON file with all your profile, businesses, clients, invoices, quotes, expenses, and payments will be downloaded
Delete Your Entire Account
Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
- 1Go to Settings → Profile
- 2Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- 3Click "Delete Account"
- 4Type DELETE to confirm
- 5Your account, businesses, invoices, clients, and all data will be permanently removed within 30 days
Data Retention
- Individual records: Deleted immediately and permanently
- Account deletion: All personal data removed within 30 days
- Legal obligations: Some financial records may be retained as required by tax or accounting laws
- Backups: Removed from backup systems within 90 days
