Is the AI invoice generator really free?+
Yes. You can make 10 invoices a day with AI without an account, and the form and the PDF download are free and unlimited. A free KipBill account adds the AI assistant with 10 AI messages a month.
What should I write?+
Who you're billing, what for and the price — for example “Invoice Acme Ltd: website redesign $1,200, 20% VAT, due in 30 days”. You can add quantities, hours, the tax, dates, a reference or the client's email.
Does it handle VAT included and withholding tax?+
Yes. Say “VAT included” and it works out the price before tax; ask for a withholding (such as Spain's IRPF) and it deducts it. If you say a total and the lines don't add up to it, it warns you.
Can I dictate the invoice?+
Yes, in browsers with dictation such as Chrome, Edge and Safari: press Dictate and speak. Your browser turns your voice into text, then you press Create invoice.
Is my data stored?+
No. Your text is sent to our AI provider only to read it, and KipBill doesn't store it. The form stays saved in your browser so you don't lose it.
Is the PDF a valid invoice?+
It has the usual details of an invoice: your business and the client, number, dates, lines, tax and total. Some countries ask for more (specific tax IDs, legal notes or e-invoicing systems), so check the rules that apply to you.
Which languages does it understand?+
You can write in any of the site's 12 languages. Amounts like “4.939” or “4,939” are read the way your language writes them.
